  As you read this Presidents report in the minutes, your Executive Board will be deep in the heart of Sacramento at a California Professional Firefighters (CPF) training session with firefighters from throughout the state to prepare our message to battle the "Corporate Power Grab Campaign" in November.

  Recently our membership received EA’s regarding Timecard Approval Please Print, Read and Post this very important additional information Thank You   Friday April 20th, 2012 the Department sent out EA-166, REMINDER TIMECARD APPROVALS.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that the Local 1014 Executive Board announces the loss of one of our own brother firefighters today April 3, 2012. This brother was working today when he passed away. Detail will be forthcoming.

  1014 City Election Endorsements  Your Local 1014 Executive Board has been hard at work to make sure our members’ voices are heard in the upcoming City elections.

People ask us all the time "why do we support those people in politics"? Well the simple answer is we support those who support us. Your 1014 board is elected by you, our membership, to protect your wages, hours and working conditions. How is that done? Politics. Our voice in politics is very important.
