The 5th Annual Los Angeles County, Local 1014 Fill the Boot raises an all time high of $366,700, bringing the five year total to $1,590,064. The 3 day “on duty” event held May 17th, 18th and 19th brought out the brave men and woman of Local 1014 to raise funds for “Jerry’s kids.”

Once again, Union Vice President, Dave Lopez, coordinated the event through the chief’s o ffice to ensure a safe and profitable drive, “We want to take care of the kids anyway we can. Every year, I am proud of what our guys accomplish in support of MDA.”

Battalion 5 came in with the most dollars raised at $41,259. Battalion 12 was close behind at $35,392. Great job, Local 1014.
