Fire Captain John Mazzocco, Fire Station 111, B platoon, Battalion 22, son of retired Battalion Chief Bob Mazzocco, Battalion 11, passed away after battling a job related illness on Thursday, December 12, 2013, at the age of 48. For 27 years Captain Mazzocco was a member of LA County Firefighters Local 1014, and was a dedicated and respected member of our department
A flag ceremony will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at:
