Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial Service

Memorial service for Kevin Woyjeck and 18 of his brothers who lost their lives in the Yarnell Hill Fire on Sunday June 30th.

The service will be held Tuesday July 9th, 11am, at the Toyota Center 3201 N. Main St. Prescott Valley, AZ 86314.

Our brothers, who made up the Granite Mountain Hotshots crew, died when the fast-moving wildfire overtook them. All had deployed their emergency shelters designed to protect them in an emergency circumstance.

The fallen firefighters, our IAFF brothers are:

We are working on details for places for people to stay, transportation to an from Prescott.

We are also looking into the possibility of having a point for LA County Firefighters to meet and walk in as a group.  If you are planning on attending please let us know be email info@local1014.org with how many people will be in your group.  If we secure a meeting location we will let you know.

The LA County Fire Department Memorial Management Team is working on logistics for the events as well as helping Kevin's Family (Joe Woyjeck's oldest son).

Please check our website and watch your Email for updates. We are working to get the information out to everyone as soon as we can confirm the that the information we are getting is correct. There has been many rumors and guesstimates on what is happening when.
