“As the Department and the County of Los Angeles supports and assists Los Angeles County Fire Fighters each year with our annual MDA Fill the Boot Drive to raise funds to combat ALS Disease, a more than 60 year tradition of excellence with the I.A.F.F., so too do we support the annual March of Dimes Campaign.”
This year the Board of Supervisors, our Direct Fire Board Members, have proclaimed Saturday April 27th 2013 as Don’t Stop Believin Walk for Healthy babies Day throughout LA County. Please take time to come out and walk with TEAM : LA COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT or consider donating at http://www.marchforbabies.org/team/t2052348 and help with this very worthy cause and do something good for others.
This will be a great warm up for our members to get ready to Fill the Boot for MDA, a drive that is around the corner.
We appreciate the partnership with the Department and the County of Los Angeles for these types of events and public service missions and ask or members to rise up and help where you can…it all shows to the citizens we serve, and they support us.
