We want to remind everyone about situational awareness during these trying times until our law enforcement partners can mitigate this "domestic terrorist" who is targeting police officers and their families.

Remember to pay close attention to your surroundings.

Think back to your days in the tower when the words "scene safety" sounded like foreign words. Now more than ever scene safety is critical. This ex-LAPD officer is considered armed and extremely dangerous. He is reported to have, among other things, a sniper rifle and explosives. He was trained in the military and the LAPD. If you spot this person or see anything suspicious call 911 immediately. DO NOT APPROACH HIM.

Our brothers and sisters in the LAPD and all other law enforcement agencies are busy protecting their own members as well as their families. They are working hard to protect the citizens of Los Angeles and all other surrounding communities in Souther California. This is a very fluid situation that can be in your neighborhood at a moments notice without warning.
