We did it!
In the past your Executive Board has called on the Membership and asked for help to make sure our voice is heard. Once again we made the call and this time it was for a very heavy lift from our Membership. Last night, November 6th 2012 the work of your Executive Board and our Membership paid off. Simply put WED DID IT!
After many months of hard work by the board and a little over one month big push from our Membership we were able to beat back an attack by some wealthly people, Super PACS and corporations that would have silenced our voice. During the month of October we did some amazing things such as:

16 phone banks

432 members phone banking
-
26,00 calls made
-
4 days of walking for GOTV with 160 members.
-
Over 8,000 LA County residents visited
Simply put - WE DID IT!
