Local 1014 will once again host LACERA outreach and Great West advisors for a class at Local 1014 (3460 Fletcher Ave., El Monte 10 FWY and Rosemead).  This is a pre-retirement workshop that will give you all the information you need to know to prepare for retirement.  Things like Ventura Benefits, retirement medical care and steps to take prior to retirement are all covered.

Some of the issues to be covered:

• Death, Disablity and Survivor Benefits Planning - Local 1014 Staff and Directors.
• Mid-Career Seminar for those with more than 5 years before retirement - LACERA Staff.
• Pre-Retirement Seminar for those with 5 years or less before retirement - LACERA Staff
• Great West (457 Plan) pre-retirement and retirement planning - Great West Staff.

Individual counseling and retirement planning by LACERA, Great West and Local 1014.

* 0900 to 1430

* Lunch will be provided. 

* Class size is limited to 50. Sign-ups will be on a first come-first served basis.

* Spouse/partners are welcomed.

Monday July 16th - A Shift on duty

Tuesday July 17th - B Shift on duty

Wednseday July 18th - C Shift on duty
