It's time to Train, Learn and Lead!
The Los Angeles County Firefighters' Association will be hosting FTC 2016 "Gathering of Legends" on March 1st and 2nd, 2016 in Pasadena at the Pasadena Convention Center. This years line up of nationally recognized speakers is guaranteed not to disappoint! The Firefighters' Association has gathered some of the top experts in the Fire Service to discuss some of the most important aspects of our job:

The Keynote Speaker will be Admiral Eric Thor Olson, United States Navy Admiral (Ret.). Admiral Olson was the first Navy SEAL to be appointed to 3 and 4 Star flag rank, as well as the first naval officer to be USSOCOM's combatant commander. As graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Admiral Olson participated in several conflicts and contingency operations, and has served as a SEAL instructor, strategy and tactics development officer and joint special operations staff officer. His overseas assignments include service as a United Nations military observer in Israel and Egypt, and as Navy Programs officer in Tunisia. Admiral Olson was in charge of all Navy SEAL's during Desert Storm and in 1993. He participated in the Battle of Mogadishu, where he was later awarded the Silver Star for his actions in combat.
