Local 1014 is proud to provide our members with
"EMS LEGAL UPDATE 2015"
This type of class has never been provided by your employer, yet you are expected to be an expert on all procedures, policies, documentation, NFIRS, patient care records, etc. Protect your license, your family, your income and your future by educating yourself and listening to an expert in the field of EMS Defense Law.

This class WILL be very informative. The class is a one day class that will be offered three consecutive dates so you will not have to burn time to attend.
The class dates are as follows:
Wednesday 9/16 (A Shift)
Thursday 9/17 (B Shift)
Friday 9/18 (C Shift)
The classes will be held at YOUR Union hall (3460 Fletcher Ave., El Monte) and is open to all members of 1014.
We are putting this class on to educate all our members on current laws, policies and procedures that govern the EMS work we do everyday. It does not matter if you are a new member of 1014 or have been a member for 30 years, this class is a must have. This will help the newest firefighter to the most senior captain to better understand their roles, responsibilities and liabilities in regards to EMS & more. For our paramedics, this is a must attend.
