Holiday Buyback (Part 2)
Updated On: Jan 13, 2006

For any safety members retiring in 2006 who have to fill out a Holiday buyback form, there is a time frame you need to be aware of. Please open the download below.

As a reminder, if you will Automatically be paid for Holiday time this month (those personnel with 16.5 shifts of 56-hour holiday time as of Dec. 31, 2005) you do Not need to fill out a Holiday buyback form. Holiday buyback via memo is only necessary if you have Less then 16.5 shifts on Dec 31, 2005, and are Not being paid this month for Holiday time. This bulletin is to remind you that you need to sell back your 5.5 shifts of Holiday time via memo if you want to pick up the March 1, 2005, lump sum uniform allowance in your highest pensionable year. If you are selling back Holiday time via memo, and are planning to retire by April 1, Turn in your memo!

If you have any questions regarding this bulletin or web post call John Bishop or Will Pryor at 310-639-1013 or e-mail jbishop@local1014.org or willp@local1014.org
