On Friday, November 3, 1014 member coordinators representing nearly all 21battalions met at the 1014 Union Hall to receive final instructions from PAC chairman Andy Doyle and 1014 President Dave Gillotte for organizing and coordinating battalion walking and phone banking through Tuesday's statewide vote. Afterwards, everyone pitched in to clean up the warehouse, moving stacks, sweeping floors, and installing new lights for Saturday's LA Federation of Labor "GOTV" ("Get Out The Vote") rally and television press conference. Speakers included Federation President Martin Ludlow, LA Mayor Antonio Villaragossa, and 1014 President Dave Gillotte.

The entire 1014 Executive Board would like to acknowledge and thank the membership for their outstanding work through this election. Whenever we come to you asking you for help you're there, which in turn reinforces our responsibility to always do our best for this Union and its membership. As always, thank you for your support.
