Los Angeles County Firefighters Local 1014
Is the labor organization of the proud men and women that serve as Firefighters and emergency medical responders protecting 58 cities and the County of Los Angeles. The members of the LA County Fire Department rely on Local 1014 to focus on the wellbeing and safety of those that protect the lives of others.
On November 8th, there are critical
national, statewide, and local elections.
For the first time in history, the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) has voted to NOT endorse a candidate in the Presidential race. The IAFF Executive Board, which represents all 50 American States, assessed the final two candidates and determined that the right course of action was to make no endorsement in this race. It is important to note, however, that the IAFF is very engaged in a number of Congressional and United States Senate races in order to make sure that our voice is heard and Firefighter issues of importance are protected on the National level.
After interviewing candidates and carefully analyzing local and statewide ballot measures and races and the impact that they will have on Firefighters and working families, Local 1014 has made the following endorsements for the November 8th election.
