Firefighter Paramedic Scott Larue
Fire Station 71, B platoon

It is with a great deal of sorrow that I inform you that Firefighter Paramedic Scott Larue, Fire Station 71, B platoon, Battalion 5 passed away unexpectedly on the night September 22nd from an off duty accident.

The Board of Supervisors, together with Fire Chief Daryl Osby and I pass along our deepest condolences and sympathies to Brother Larue's Family.

To ensure the proper care and support of the family and fire family of Brother Larue during this extremely difficult time, the Department has activated the Department's Memorial Management Team (MMT) and the PEER support team.

Please keep Brother Larue, his wife and children in your thoughts and prayers as they work through these difficult times.

There are no details yet on Brother Larue's services but as they become available we will keep you informed.
