Passing of Brother Hector Magallanes

It is with a great sadness that we inform you that Brother Hector Magallanes, Fire Station 193/A, Battalion 21, passed away after a short-term job related illness on Friday, September 18, 2015, at the age of 55.

President Gillotte, along with the Executive Board of Local 1014, Fire Chief Osby and The Board of Supervisors, pass along our deepest condolences and sympathies to the entire Magallanes family.

Brother Magallanes will be missed, but not forgotten.

As 1014 works with the Memorial Management Team and the Department to make sure our brother is laid to rest with honor, please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Memorial Services

A flag ceremony will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at:

Los Angeles County Fire Department Fire Station 193
1000 Risner Way 
La Habra, CA 90631

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at:

Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church
900 West La Habra Boulevard
La Habra, CA 90631

Internment will immediately follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary
