Boston Firefighters Local 718 regrets to announce the Line of Duty deaths of

We shall never forget…
Today our Brothers and Sisters of Boston Firefighters Local 718 laid to rest their Brothers who gave all for those they served. Lt. Edward J. Walsh and FF Michael R. Kennedy lost their lives in the line of duty while battling a structure fire where they faced heavy fire and smoke conditions with basement fire and with the great crews of the Boston FD saved numerous Boston Citizens who may have perished without their efforts. Local 1014 has had a very long standing relationship with Boston Firefighters L718 and the Professional Firefighters of Massechusets and we are giving to the Memorial Fund set up for their families and we have conveyed our condolences and thoughts and prayers, and we will be working with them long after today to help our Brothers and Sisters. Please take a moment to reflect and pray for the fallen brothers and their families.
