It is with with heavy heart I announce the unexpected passing of Brother Paul Cooke. Brother Cooke passed away early on the morning of March 18, 2014. Bother Cooke passed away due to an off duty incident.

At the time of Brother Cooke's passing he was surround by his family, crew and friends.

Along with Fire Chief Daryl Osby, The Board of Supervisors and the entire Executive Board of Local 1014 we pass along our deepest condolences and sympathies to the entire Cooke family and his co-workers from Fire Station 92.

The Department has activated the Memorial Management Team, which Local 1014 is part of, to assist the family in the time of need to bring honor to Brother Cooke, his family and the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Brother Cooke leaves behind his wife Belinda and two daughters. Please keep his family in your thoughts as they work through these difficult times.
